Touch the grand mountains and the endless plains of the Muş region, set on the high-altitude lands of Eastern Anatolia.

Muş Plain 

The Muş Plain (Muş Ovası) is set on the tectonic faults of Anatolia. It is 80 kilometres long, and 30 kilometres at its widest point. The average altitude of the plain is 1,400-1,500 meters. Surrounded by mountains of over 2,000 meters, the Muş Plain offers stunning views, especially in the spring. Poppies, which bloom annually in May, paint the Muş Plain a vivid red. 

Bingöl Mountain 

Bingöl Mountain (Bingöl Dağı), which extends to Elazığ and into the city of Bingöl, also extends into the Muş region. The peak of the mountain, which can be easily seen from the Varto district, is at 3,193 meters above sea level. With high, glaciated plateaus that are 2,650 to 2,800 meters above sea level, the mountain appears white throughout the year.

Bilican Mountain

Set between the Liz Plain and Bulanık Plain, Bilican Mountain (Bilican Dağı) features white landscapes for 10 months of the year. The peak of the mountain is at an altitude of 2,950 meters.
